Instagram offers more monetisation options?
I have been using some other web2 channels, as some of my projects are more on the local side
One of my instagram accounts (the largest actually) has more
than 20K followers and today I noticed this
Of course I clicked to see what this is about and inform you about it
I clicked on next so that I see what this is about
Apparently it means that this way my profile will be included in a list of profiles and brands will be able to filter/find and make offers for sponsorships
I actually find it cool and think we could even build something similar for hive
Imagine if someone creates an app on hive and wants to find active accounts to test and share about it
They should be able to search by active accounts, followers / engagement count etc
Thoughts?
Have you seen this on your account?

Back to insta, after I asked Gemini about this, I got this response
This is a notification inviting you to join the Meta Creator Marketplace.
What accounts is it about?
It is for Instagram and Facebook accounts. Meta uses this marketplace to connect eligible creators directly with brands looking for sponsored content opportunities.
What can you do to earn money?
By clicking "Start Now", you can set up a creator profile within Meta’s system. Here is how you earn money through it:
- Receive Brand Proposals: Brands can search for your profile based on your audience demographics, location, and niche. They can send you direct project offers or campaigns.
- Showcase Your Portfolio: You can highlight your best content, past collaborations, and the specific topics you specialize in so brands know what you excel at creating.
- Indicate Your Interests: You can select project categories that fit your style (like luxury travel, lifestyle, or hospitality) so you only get relevant inquiries.
- Negotiate and Get Paid: You can communicate with brands, agree on deliverables (such as Reels, Stories, or posts), and manage payments directly through Meta's integrated tools.
