Sunday afternoon Apple Pie

Hello Hiveans,
this is my first post in the Foodies Bee Hive. So I want to introduce myself with my Apple Pie, which I baked today.
It is a really uncomfortable Sunday here in germany. It is raining and stormy and the sund doesn't show.
So my sun and i decided to bake an apple pie with almonds on the top for this sunday afternoon. A warm apple pie is always a good idea to improve our mood and bring a smile in our face and maybe in yours too 😀
And always i smell apple pie, i remember my childhood, because we had an apple tree in our garden and made delicious pies from our own apples.

Here is the recipe:
100 g Butter
125 g Sugar

3 Eggs
200 g Flour
1 small bag of Baking Powder
3-4 Apples
30 g Almonds
a little cinnamon

First, my sun cutted the apples into small pieces. He is 7 years old, so I think he made a very good job.

Then I mixed the butter with the sugar and afterwards added the eggs.
When it was all well combined I slowly added the flour with the baking powder and mixed the ingredients until it became a smooth dough.
Now I mixed the apples with the dough and put it in the greased form.
Finally the almonds found it's place on the top of the dough.

The pie has to bake 60 minutes by 175 ° Celsius.

It is a very simple recipe, but often the simple things in life are meaningfull to us.
And this simple but delicious apple pie really saved our sunday afternoon and put a smile in the faces of my family and so in mine too 😀
