The water crystallizes in a hexagonal shape, creating snowflakes. Bees also make the hive in a hexagonal shape from beeswax. And, of course, the symbol of HIVE, my favourite blogging platform, is also a hexagon.
For the first step, I've created some flame hexagons with JWildfire, that will be tiles for my next project. This will make them easy to multiply and combine, with an endless number of possibilities.
