Strikingly brightly colored invertebrates and amphibians often indicate they can be dangerous or even contain deadly venom. Therefore, they are protected against predators. These strange, coral-like animals are soft, flexible, and have flaunt bright rainbow colors. Of course, they are not terrestrial beings, about 100 light-years from us, living in the seas of an earthly inhabited planet. They live in huge colonies in nearshore waters and live in symbiosis with some species. The individual creatures are very small, barely a few millimeters, but the colonies are hundreds of kilometers long. Just like coral reefs on Earth!
