Etekaf ka matalab ye he ki aadmi khuda ke ghr yani masjid me thehre rehne ko ibadat smjh kr us ki niyan se esi masjid me jis me jmat hoti he, thehra rhe.
Insan apna ser tmasha, chlna firna, kam kaj chor kr masjid me thehra rhe, or is thehre rehne se khuda taala ki razamndi maksud hoto is ka ibadat hona zahir he.
Etekaf me ye fayede ye he,etekaf krne wala goya apne tmam bdn or tmam wqt ko khuda ki ibadat ke liye wqf kr deta he.
Duniya ke jhagro or bahut se gunaho se mehfuz rehta he.
Etekaf ki halat me use hr wqt nmaz ka swab milta he, kyuki etekaf se asl maksud yhi he ki motakif hr wqt nmaz or jmat ke intezar or ishteyak me betha rhe.
Etekaf ki halat me motakif farishto ki mushabiht paida krta he ki unki trh hr wqt ibadat or tasbeeh me rehta he.
Masjid khuda ka ghr he, is liye etekaf me motakif khuda taala ka padosi blki us ke ghr me mehman hota he.
