Checking Out Gamuda Cove
I went to check out Gamuda Cove over the weekend. According to their website👇
Aiming to become Malaysia's Most Liveable City, it is truly a game-changer in Southern Klang Valley and is projected to bring in more than a million visitors annually with its wide range of lifestyle, facilities, residential and tourism offerings. This estimated figure will multiply thanks to catchments from neighbouring suburbs and visitors from KLIA and KLIA2 for which, this township would be the nearest attraction.
Even though it was a Sunday, it was awfully quiet and there wasn't much going on - not yet according to the guy from the management office. There is an extreme park, wetlands (with crocodiles - eeek), offices and homes, malls and parks.
According to the guy, the first phase opened in 2019, and then bam!! Covid and lockdowns dented the plans. However, they are hoping 2022 will bring the people over as the first housing project is ready and keys will be handed out in March.
We just walked around a bit and decided to come back with the kids so they can try out the extreme park. And perhaps even the aeriel dining though apparently you are given only 15 minutes up, so maybe more like snacking.
