A Pop Song - That All Changed The Day I Met You

I have been writing songs on and off since I was 14 years old, I'm now 62. I can play the guitar but my skills are quite limited, I've never really had the patience to practice enough to improve. About 10 years ago I came across a website called JamStudio.Com which allowed you to create backing tracks from a vast collection of sampled instruments. I don't think this website is available now as it used Flashplayer, which modern browsers don't support. This website was perfect for me because it was so simple to use, unlike most DAWs I had tried in the past. I paid a fee so that all of the tracks I created were royalty free and gave me permission to use the tracks I created in anyway I wanted to, including commercially.

Jam Studio allowed me to put together a chord sequence, add drums, bass and various guitar styles, to create a backing track. This was great for me, because the way I have always written songs is to create a chord sequence and listen for the melody in the chords. I would then write the lyrics, which has never been my strongest point, as you will notice from the lyrics in the song below! Although this allowed me to produce backing tracks and write songs, I still had a problem, my voice isn't up to much. Fortunately I happened to be using a website called Fiverr at the time and found a young woman who would sing my songs for a small fee.

As it turned out this young woman has a fantastic voice, and unknown to me at the time, had been quite famous in the Philippines, her name is Marri Nallos you can find out more about her by following the link.
This is one of the songs I wrote and she was kind enough to sing for me. It's an upbeat pop song about being changed by love. The video was made along time ago before all of the fantastic music video making sites that are available these day, so it is very basic. Have a listen and see what you think. I may share a couple more.
