Gamifiying my Ecency experience

So lately clicking around ecency@ecency , I found the Ecency perks. A gamification effort by Ecency to make your activity rise on the platform. A perk, is a goal of things to do in the platform and how much to do. On Ecency perks is divided by Daily activity, weekly and monthly.

Ecency perks and daily Quests

The Quest include activities such as check in, leave a comment, reblog a post, publish one, curate and participate on the Daily spin. I am not sure what you get once you conclude them all, but that's the gamification challenge I guess. Maybe I unlock a special package of points or maybe a badge.

I think this is a great idea to promote engagement and wonder if you ever seen or used this before. If so, have you ever achieved all the quests? What happened then? Share your experience on the comments.

I really hope more dapps create engaging experience for their users and reward them as they should. I've seen many people in the platform comment all the daily bloggers so they can rise on the leaderboard positions, so maybe this could be a different metric to feed competitiveness.

I think badges should be revived as a POAP or proof of the efforts achieved on the blockchain, either for personal, or community satisfaction. This will make competitive communities be more active on the platform. Also might even spark more investment from the community and have Hive grow in Marketing and adoption either by harvesting FOMO or EgoBoo.

Phygital rewards such as discounts and offers for real world products such as Amazon credits, Uber Eats credits or other potential global company that deliver product and services could help bridge this. Maybe some B2B is in order, and new models for income could grow from that.

We'll see, and hopefully we could get people interesting in these.
