Why Espresso?

I will share my experience as a coffee addict.
I don't know where to start. Who does not know this sacred Italian drink?

Well, many people don't like espresso because it is very bitter or because the espresso cup is too small.

Espresso comes from Italian which means express or "fast" because it is made to be served immediately to customers and is a type of coffee that is produced by extracting ground coffee beans by spraying hot air under pressure. (Source)

In Italy, the habit of people who drink espresso is to immediately gulp it down and immediately go back to their activities, they just want to get energy from espresso. There espresso is not enjoyed by sipping it slowly, in fact they are used to doing it while standing in front of the table greeting the barista and then leaving.

Currently espresso has been worldwide. Who doesn't know this drink, right?

Many people around the world do not enjoy their espresso as people in Italy do, espresso is also enjoyed slowly while relaxing and enjoying. Glass size is no longer an issue. If you feel your espresso is lacking because the glass is small, then you can order a double espresso or a ristretto.

The very bitter taste of espresso is due to the brewing process by extracting the coffee beans and using only a small amount of water. Although the bitter taste of coffee is also influenced by the type of coffee and the roasting method, the extraction process has forced out all the substances contained in the coffee beans and the result is truly the essence of coffee.

The extraction process and the gramation of the coffee beans that are processed into espresso, can also affect the resulting taste. That is why you will experience a different espresso taste from one coffee shop to another or from one barista to another. It will never be the same, even if they use the same house blend.

What is very interesting?
Espresso is the basis or foundation of coffee-derived menus. From espresso was born cappuccino, machiato, caffe latte, piccolo latte and other menus that are no less delicious. But, I only drink espresso, pure and never mix it with anything.
