Although the idea is not completely innovative in the approach, since already in its cross plan, medieval architects thought of the figure of the Crucified, if it is, however, in the execution that the Catalan architect Antonio Gaudí made of the interiors of the so-called 'Cathedral of the Poor', where columns, flying buttresses and vaults - both figuratively and representatively speaking - make up the ideal 'skeleton' that will contain the main body of his most famous and fantastic creation: the Holy Family.

Si bien la idea no es completamente innovadora en el planteamiento, pues ya en su planta de cruz, los arquitectos medievales pensaban en la figura del Crucificado, si lo es, sin embargo, en la ejecución que el arquitecto catalán Antonio Gaudí hizo de los interiores de la denominada 'Catedral de los Pobres', donde columnas, arbotantes y bóvedas -tanto figurativa, como representativamente hablando- conforman el 'esqueleto' ideal que habrá de contener el cuerpo principal de su más famosa y fantástica creación: la Sagrada Familia.
