LIVELIHOOD FOR WOMEN
It is so heartwarming to note that women are given due recognition by the government. Our roles in the society are so complex yet we tried to make the most of our capacity in order to have a significant contribution to the development of our respective localities.
Yesterday, our local government awarded nine (9) sewing machines to our women's organizations. This is to provide them livelihood to augment their income, thus, shaping up a brighter future for their children. Aside from this, some of our women were granted with other livelihood projects such as hog growing and meat processing through the Department of Trade and Industry in collaboration with the this local government, which was launched the other week.
This endeavor is empowering women for them to significantly contribute to nation building.
