ANXIOUS CONDITIONS BROUGHT BY THE TYPHOONS
Considering that Cebu has not been completely cured by the damages brought by super typhoon Odette, we are now facing two typhoons, locally known as typhoons Agaton and Basyang, both slowly devastating and bringing heavy rain for the past week. As my entry to this #momomad challenge, let me share with you the current conditions I have captured after I went out from work.
Due to the continuous rain, the fast ravaging of waters from the rivers is visible. In fact, local news told that some places and houses were already flooded; damaging the people’s assets and valuables. Worst case, reported casualties in eatern part of the visayas Philippines, Leyte, are now continuing due to a landslide happened. 😔
The streets have been busy. The cold-cuddle weather makes me feel anxious for the days to come. Despite this, Filipinos are known to be very optimistic even during hard times.This makes me feel calm tho.
I pray for better and warm days ahead! Keep safe everyone.
