Mayo aquí (ejercicio poético) (Esp | Eng)

Mayo, ataviado de amarillo o de lila,
con aromas terrosos y sutiles,
abierto a las corrientes
de los aires de un río tardo,
o de las caracolas marinas,
ha llegado a nuestro tiempo.

Lo hemos presentido
en las brisas albas
o en las luces ponientes.
Está de nuevo aquí,
invitándonos a saborearlo
en las flores áureas de los robles,
en los pétalos sublimes de los apamates.

Mayo, siempre acariciando la tierra,
con sus garúas cadenciosas,
haciendo brotar los verdes
de lo nuevo y lo eterno.
¿Qué nos traerá
con sus incógnitas nocturnas
y sus esplendores de alborada,
en el ciclo de memoria y olvido?

May Here (poetic exercise)

May, dressed in yellow or lilac,
with earthy and subtle aromas,
open to the currents
of the air of a lazy river,
or of seashells,
has arrived in our time.

We have sensed it
in the dawn breezes
or in the setting lights.
It is here again,
inviting us to savor it
in the golden blossoms of the oaks,
in the sublime petals of the apamates.

May, always caressing the earth,
with its rhythmic drizzle,
bringing forth the greens
of the new and the eternal.
What will it bring us
with its nocturnal mysteries
and its dawn splendors,
in the cycle of memory and oblivion?
