No cabe duda que el avance de las tecnologías en loe ultimos 25 años ha sido una avalancha de nuevos artefactos,los cuales han inundado nuestro quehacer diario cambiando la forma de ver al mundo en el cual vivimos, lo cual afecta nuestra relación con todos, incluyendo a nuestros hijos!!

Recuerdo en mi infancia en los años 80 y principios de los noventa como la tecnologías de la computación todavía eran una novedad en si mismas, teniendo una gran expectativa por estos equipos que iban a cambiar nuestra forma de trabajar, cuando para muchos eran como un avance a la máquina de escribir, (increible! eso es solo un programa jejeje) lo cual pudo crear una brecha tecnológica entre nuestros padres y nosotros en lo que respecta al manejo de estas tecnologías

Una cosa muy importante de considerar al respecto de este tema es el hecho de que al nacer nosotros aceptamos al mundo tal y como lo vemos, y por lo tanto a un niño actual le parecerá imposible un mundo sin pantallas tactiles, así como a mi me parecía un mundo sin televisión, por lo que estan habituados de una manera casi organica a interactuar con equipos a lo cuales nosotros podemos tener el recelo propio de la resistencia al cambio.

Nosotros los padres somos los primeros maestros de nuestros hijos quienes en su primera infancia nos ven como su mundo y soportes y por lo tanto somos responsables el poder prepararlos lo mejor posible para interacuar con el mundo.

El asunto es que lo que anteriormente era concebido como un espacio seguro, nuestra casa y su habitación se ha convertido en una plataforma en la cual ellos pueden interactuar con otros, sin una supervisión directa, por lo cual nuestros niños se enfrentan a diario a una posibilidad de interacción dentro de todo tipos de redes sociales y plataformas, incluso los videojuegos todo se realiza conectado! (por no hablar del metaverso) con las cuales debemos estar familiarizados para poder estar atentos ante cualquier peligro o situación que pudiera pasar, porque como podríamos aconsejarlos con respecto a algo que no conocemos.

El reto esta no solo en poder establecer horarios y restricciones con respecto al uso de las tecnologías, y las redes sino el estar actualizados e informados para poder guiarlos!
