Steemit Iron chef 2018 Act 01 - Round 07 Cheese Leeks
Leeks time!
After our free ingrediet week in Steemit Iron Chef, we are back to the usual dedicated themes.
And this week we have to work with leeks.
An ingredient I love, half way between onion and chives, usually beeing a secondary on the dishes, but wuth enough flavour to make a good leading role.
For me leeks and cheese do a perfect match, complementing really well and adding flavours one another.
So I have the pleasure to present to cheese lovers:
Cheesy grated leeks
A very easy recipe, not much to do but a lot to enjoy
Ingredients:
Just melt butter and add garlic, after 2 minutes add the leeks and give them a golden touch.
Then add the cream and low the fire. Cook for 20 minutes keeping an eye on them.
Grate some cheese add it and place them in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes.
This tastes good!!!!
And not a lot of work for you!!
Thanks one more week to @progressivechef for the efforts to made this great contest possible, and to the sponsors!!
We will keep posting!!
Steeeeemmmmmmmmmmm
