The X-59 QueSSt is a NASA experimental supersonic aircraft that aims as part of this project to reduce the volume of the sonic boom, the sound produced by the shock waves created when an object travels through the air faster than the speed of sound with wing fabrication and assembly in 2020 the X-59 would be NASA's first full-scale experimental aircraft in more than three decades.

The final design of 29 meters long and with a wingspan of 9 meters will serve for NASA to carry out additional tests to demonstrate that the silent technology works from 2022. NASA will test the X-59 over several cities in the US and collect data on community responses to flights.

We will have to wait for the results of the studies and the opinion of the population to see if it is really silent, will an era of supersonic flight arrive again like that time that the Concorde flew over? Will we see the X-59 QueSSt as a successor to Concorde? .
