A wandering black hole

NASA has just announced the discovery of a wandering supermassive black hole that destroys everything in its path, measuring 20 million solar masses, being larger than the one found in the center of the Milky Way. This newly discovered black hole is so voluminous, so massive, and moves so fast that it cannot swallow it all, and as it passes, its gravity presses on the gas surrounding the galaxy from which it is escaping, causing the gas to condense and thus create new stars.

It is something similar to the trail of foam left by a ship in its wake, only in this case the foam is a trail of newborn stars 200,000 light years long, that is twice the diameter of the Milky Way, everything this is something never seen and in fact the Hubble finding was accidental, a coincidence, very lucky for astronomers, lucky because, although it seems like a terrifying idea of a drifting black hole, all this happens very far in time and in space, what we see is what was happening when the universe was about half its present age.

The strange thing about unknown phenomena like this, is that this black hole is free and should not be off-center in its galaxy, according to astronomers it is likely that this wandering black hole is the result of a rare and strange game of galactic billiards, between three huge black holes due to the merger of two galaxies about 50 million years ago before the event we are seeing the image. For gravity, two are company, but three are a crowd. Perhaps in one of the galaxies there was a binary system of black holes rotating around each other when it merged with the other galaxy and they encountered a third supermassive black hole and one of them ended up being ejected. and it is the one that we now see in the image traveling fast and freely leaving behind a trail of newborn stars.
