Actifit Report 150823: Farm(park) Day

So yesterday was free day at the Farmpark for residents of the county. It's been about 3 years since we've been there, i decided

Eh, why not?

First up was seeing the cows and learning about the process for making milk. Turns out they send the milk south about 40 minutes where the menanites turn out into delicious 🧀 (cheese).

Next Up: The Barnyard

The fat pigs were in their house sleeping. Of course.

The sheep were milling around baaing...

The alpaca were out enjoying the sunshine in the fields.

We finally tooled around long enough at

The Playground

That we were able to catch a ride on the horse drawn carriage.

The kids had some lunch and then we headed home.

One cool thing happened on the way out. I was taking pictures of the lake and all of a sudden we hear tons of honks coming from above.

We look up and see a

Swarm of Geese

heading to the lake
actually, is called a gaggle, right?
bombed the lake to hang out.

A cool sight to see.
