Actifit Report 160723: Baseball, Art, and Music BAM!

Actually, i had about 4k steps on the app on when i was on my way to see Baldassarre's Led Zeppelin Revival.

I barely got to 5k steps even though i should have been well over...

Baseball

We went to Miracle Park to watch a baseball game around lunchtime. The park has weekly events where kids that have some type of disability play baseball games. They have a cool baseball diamond and run games all day for they kids.

This day was Disney day. The kids got some lunch, watched some baseball, played on the playground, and got high fives from some Disney characters.

Art

After the game we headed to the Arts Festival. The kids got to walk through a brain.
They got to squirt color blasters on an outdoor canvas. We had some awesome ice cream bars and walked around to see the vendors. Got a good amount of steps here.

Music

Back to the Zeppelin Revival. I knew i wanted to go to the show but didn't have any plans to go with people.

Ended up being three of us going and had a blast.

They played a good mix of songs including some his and some lesser heard songs. The band did a great job covering the songs and Carl Baldassarre is really fun to watch on the guitar.

Plus with a name like BALDASSarre

You really can't go wrong.

Remember when i said a barely made it to 5k steps. I had really gotten to 4k and felt poised to reach at least 7 or 8k. Then, at the concert, i thought it would be a good idea to try and jump sideways to hit a beach ball into the crowd.

I heard some cracking and actually thought i broke something in my hip. From hitting a beach ball. I barely got to 5k because i had to sit and rest because it felt so terrible.

The band played over and we had a blast.
