Actifit Report 010722: First try at Fishing

Follow up story from The Cast Party

If you learn to cast you can learn to fish.

Well, i thought they learned how to cast a fishing pole based on their practice earlier in the week. However, we got down to the river and another reality emerged.

I took the surplus pole and put it in the water. It got caught on a rock but i still tried to get it back.

Then i felt it

My daughter's cast hit my head and then hooked the line i was using. The hook looped around the rod and it ended up a huge tangled mess.

We Got Back

And this is what was left of two of the three fishing poles i had ready to go.

Hopefully the next fishing trip will be better.

They are looking forward to "next time" despite the day's difficulties.
