The Caffeine Catnap

That feeling when you're so tired that a cup of coffee just makes it worse...

Alrighty, so, I felt pretty self conscious taking this photo because what kind of crazy person takes pictures of sleeping men in coffee shops?

Ahem.

Anyway.

So I like to search for photo opportunities in which there are oddities, contrasts or contradictions. In this image the contrast is between the 'home of irresistible coffee' and the sleeping young man.

The woman next to him was talking non-stop on the phone, and I couldn't help but wonder if it was her incessant chatter that had put him to sleep.

I would love to have gotten a little bit closer to take the shot, but I'm pretty sure my cover would have been blown if I did. :)
