Strong Winds, Stunning Views | Sugar Loaf Christchurch Hike 🌫️🇳🇿

I did not complete my Crater Rim Walkway hiking, I left it for another day and got onto the hiking track of the day for me. It was the Sugar Loaf communications tower!

The tower is an iconic one that stands out throughout Christchurch from wherever you can see it with any obstruction.

I see it from almost every direction and often told myself I have to walk up there one day and the day came on my birthday.

It wasn't great weather to be out there, not especially that high like I am used to when work on these mountains, but for the adventure of it, I didn’t mind as I dressed warm.

I got up there with joy, the views of seeing the entire or most of Christchurch from up Sugar Loaf communications tower was fulfilling.

It is going to be one of my favorite hiking tracks, I hope to be there on a much brighter weather for different kind of stunning views ✨️
