FFS Botswana Coin Is Not Bitcoin!

It is quite alarming that there are millions of people out there that knows nothing about Bitcoin, and with the sufix of "coin" in Bitcoin, majority could be assuming Bitcoin is actually a physical coins like every other coin they've known all there life.

A group of South African investors recently confessed to losing money to a brazen scammer after he convinced them to buy and hold nearly worthless physical coins. The coins, which are denominated in the Bostwana pula currency, were initially sold to a group of South African women back in 2019 when bitcoin was only worth $3,500.

According to police confirmation the information on the Botswana coin was filed off to allow space for Bitcoin inscription.

I lost my job and decided to sell one bitcoin since it had doubled in price (and that is when) I found out I had bought two 5 pula coins for $6,988 (100,000 rands) and now the Nigerian man who scammed us is no where to be found.

Sadly Lizet came across one who took advantage of her ignorance, there's is an investor mindset in her with long term perspective. She is one of those needed within the cryptosphere, a HODLer. If only she had been thought the right way with her mindset her investment in the real Bitcoin would have eventually bleed into ALTs.

That might have happened two years ago with the realization of HODLing Pula and not Bitcoin but the reality is there are majority of people who still think BTC is a physical coin.

At the end of the day it boils down to why are you involved in crypto, is it for the money or as a means for freedom. Because every single person you share your crypto knowledge with is an added force to freeing humanity from money slavery.

No fiat coin is Bitcoin, there's lot of work to be done in educating the masses!
