December thoughts on life as a girl. Day 26

Today's post is a little different from the usual and I title it:
10 SIMPLE AND BASIC ETIQUETTES THAT WORKED FOR ME IN 2024.

1. When you enter a room with people or an office (organization, hospital etc), do not sit until you're told to do so.

2. Greet the people you see in a room. Must not be something formal and must not be individual. A simple "hello everyone" and a smile on your face as you search through the room is okay.

3. Compliment a stranger. Could be their outfit or poise, just something that makes them smile. And please smile while doing so.

4. Sympathize with a person the best way you can when they let you in on their current predicament.
   (There are benefits to this but don't focus on them, it's evil to do that. Be true and genuine).

5. Apologize when you're wrong, say thank you when something good has been done to you and say please before requesting/ demanding for something.
   (Sorry, thank you & please).

6. For ladies; Carry an extra pad, safety pin, prescribed pain killers, lip balm or gloss in your purse/bag. It might come in handy for you or another lady.

7. Smile and nod when someone is speaking to you. You may not be interested in what he/she is saying but just smile and don't respond. If the person is wise, they'll take the cue.
   If the person is not wise and doesn't grab the hint, tell them in a polite way that you have something going on with you and you don't want to talk at the moment.

8. Carry an extra change when going out. Change as in cash, not ATM card only. Never go out empty handed. If you've never been stranded before especially because of network wahala, don't pray that it happens to you.
   (And if you no get money, remain for your house).

9. Pray as you travel, walk, run and even enter diverse places. Infact, pray always. You don't know what's waiting for you at the other end.
   (About this, it is easier when i have a facemask on. I kabash without looking weird).

10. Use spray, body mist, roll on or any other deodorant that gives you a nice and fresh fragrance (even if you don't have body odour).
    No kill person for inside vehicle.
    Also, dress well. You must not have a gold chain on your neck. You can look smart with the simple clothes you have. You just have to learn how to and trust me, it's not so hard.
