Splinterlands Art Contest Week 318 / Exploding Dwarf

Hey there! This is my submission to the Splinterlands art contest, and today's art is Exploding Dwarf! Whenever I make a fan art of him, I always tend to draw his hammer differently, like drawing it more "lava-like" to make it suit his appearance but this time, I'll stick to the original reference.

Art Program: Krita

I do have difficulties drawing the torso since I am used to drawing muscular human torso or V-shaped body, for this it should looked like O or U-shape 😂

Yes, I did draw him bald at first, because it's easier to do the hair separately and I want it to really look like his hair is flame-like, instead of having a lineart first before the color.

I gotta admit that I had a hard time replicating the colors of the metal in the character, like the hammer and armor, but while I was satisfied with the color of the armor, I can't say the same for the hammer, I guess I still have a lot to learn, but I did my best!
