On this week's walk, we visited another beautiful little square (Es-Eng)
How great that the day arrived to visit this wonderful "Wednesday-Walk-Community": to accompany my friend tattoodjay: in his wonderful initiative, which aims to share with walking enthusiasts the places and photographs where we usually walk.

The place we visited for our walk is within the vicinity of a beautiful "neighborhood": downtown; this area contains some of the most beautiful places in our city. This neighborhood is bordered by the ¨costanera¨: avenue and, since this is not a straight street, but rather runs along the river coast, there are many small irregular green spaces where beautiful recreational areas have been built.

In one of those many green spaces they have built a beautiful ¨plazoleta¨: which, although I've known it for a long time, I always passed by there on the "bus" which takes me back home; this is the first time I've walked past it, and since it has always caught my attention, I decided it was a good time to visit.

This recreational space was created in honor of one of our patron saints, the Virgin Stella Maris. Although it is a relatively small plaza, there is enough space for a children's play area, as well as a small grotto where the Virgin rests. This is a well-maintained space with abundant natural landscaping, featuring different species of plants and trees.

This area of the city is ideal for Wednesday walks; there are beautiful spaces for our strolls ¨photographics¨: and thus document the adventure we experienced on our walk. I really loved finally visiting and walking through this beautiful and very significant little square in downtown Corrientes.
