Is That a Pterodactyl Nest? Dang!!

How in the Wide Wide World of Sports did this nest make it through so many rainy days and not cause an outage?? Plus Check out the size of that thing!!

Typically a dry nest won’t arc and cause an outage, unless the Mama Or Papa bird tries to fly off and makes contact, then it could be a bit messy.
Now take that same dry nest and add some water to it. The water isn’t clean and gives the electricity a path to travel on. Straight to ground. That is exactly what happened here. We had some good rain and it got the nest nice and wet. Then POW the lights go out. Then I show up and have to see a gruesome sight of 4 bald dead babies in the nest. No I didn’t take picture it was disgusting !! I have a strong stomach but that was just gross!!

The nest wasn’t that deep, it just had a bowl at the top where those babies were at. It sure took a big of tugging and pulling to get that thing off there. I think it might have been the same black bird that build the last nest. I’m just glad fixing this problem was easy since it was raining. I like me a quick fix, but I could have gone without seeing those dead little birdies.

Until Next Time....
