Buenas y mejores amigos de Hive Open Mic, para el tema de esta semana, traigo un cover sencillo de la canción de Sally, de la peli El extraño mundo de Jack, película que marco mi infancia y la de muchos otros… Creo que fue de las primeras cosas en las que empecé a tener mas consciencia sobre todo el tema de los amores platónicos (¿el que tengo yo con la plata… no? ¿No es así? Suena gracioso, “platónico” “plata”, entienden? O seria platanico? No, eso es otra cosa jeje, ignoren estos paréntesis) y la frustración y tristeza de no sentirte suficiente para alguien, y aunque el amor que yo conozco extiende sus límites en fronteras más lejanas, creo que la canción de Sally, tiene suficiente dolor y amor en letra y melodía. Y sin más nada que añadir, además de la letra de la canción, me disipo, digo, despido, SALUDOS! –se desvanece-
Skol! Mates of Hive Open Mic, for this week's theme, I bring a simple cover of Sally's song, from the movie A Nightmare Before Christmas, movie that marked my childhood and many others... I think it was one of the first things in which I began to have more awareness about the whole issue of platonic love and the frustration and sadness of not being enough for someone, and although the love that I know extends its limits in more distant borders, I think Sally's song has enough pain and love in lyrics and melody. And without further ado, besides the lyrics of the song, I dissipate, excuse me, GREETINGS! I mean -fades away-
I sense there's something in the wind
