Foodie Fun

This morning was not only a Splaturday workout for my wife Tiffany and me, but it also includes "Cheat Day" Saturday for us and we sure as heck love those. With all that said, we may have pushed it on the calorie count with the stuff we ate today but it was either Plant Based and/or Vegan fare.

DHARMA SOUTHERN CHICK'N and VALHALLA BAKERY are two of our very favorite places.

Unfortunately, the pandemic did create some bumps on the road for Dharma but eventually they ended up reopening at a brand new spot nearby the fitness studio we worked out today and why we chose to burn splats there this morning so we can finally get back to eating at Dharma and it also houses our other favorite bakeries Valhalla.

Valhalla are also the folks that own VALKYRIE DOUGNUTS which we usually have when were workout in the UCF area.

I always like to be transparent and say that neither Tiffany or I are vegans, but we intergrate this type of food into our diet because it's healthier and our stomachs thanks for it lol. There are things that I may love to eat but I just can't eat anymore, so I get to eat some foods that are reminders of them.

Donuts is one of those things I love to eat, but they are like razor blades to my stomach when they are not more on the vegan side and cookies and cakes are other things that this bakery make that are egg free and dairy free allowing to give our stomachs a break.

Today, I had the plant based version of a BBQ Chicken sandwich and Tiffany had a Spicy BBQ Chicken version of it. We also had some wonderful Fried Pickles.

For dessert we chose to indulge with the following: a Cookie Dough Cupcake, a Cookie Monster bar, a YOLO cookie and a Rosemary Pistachio bar and I won't like that is my favorite offering by Valhalla.

So our lunch and dessert afterwards all hit the right spot. Of course I'm sharing photos.
