Extraterrestrial Relic - Nodevember challenge

Catching up with the nodevember challenge, this time is an extraterrestrial prompt, how could I not think of you, my favourite aliens :)

You'll find the video with sound on the comments below, but here i'll put just an image, this prompt was difficult, I tried to merge a liquid "cloud" (technically a volume object) with a solid crystal, the volume was built on a tutorial by ducky3D, with a little customization (I learned to use math nodes instead of color ramps!!!!) on the shader, nothing relevant for our article anyways, just a reached personal goal.

The crystal material was downloaded for free from the Xeofrios gumroad, but i will link you his youtube cahnnel twith lots of beautiful blender 3D tutorials to learn, this crystal material was created for the last nodevember, and i wanted to play with it given I had the chance to poke into the work of such a wonderful creator.

The image looks good, but what i wanted to do was animate the effect and if you look at the tweet in the comments you'll se I wasn't exactly able to do it in a fluid way, I'm not satisfied with the animation, but it's a challenge, there is bound for experiments.
