Falcor in Motion! π¦
Woah, this holomon can crush anyone with his sharp nails and strong wings. I would be careful if I ever met this one. Can a healer ride its back? It would be fun!
Art Process
- sketch and lineart
I wanted a pose that would give the holomon the character, and so I looked for an attacking pose, somewhat in a hunt or a battle. Working with the lineart took time because of the layers of feathers. I wanted to be as accurate as the original art.
- base colors and initial shading
The colors were in the range of browns, and so, I used the color picker tool to copy from the original art. I used cell shading brush and airbrush for the shading.
- Final shadings and initial background
Here, I have already finished the shading part. Now, I used a leaf pen to create the trees. I thought Falcor would be in the sky looking down. I used the blur brush to soften the background.
Final Art
For the final art, I added details such as the wind and leaves putting in motion. I then added a little of a blue shine as the source of light.
