Between verses and reasons

Looking back, to the past, I can notice how much I have changed, some gray in my hair is noticeable when I comb my hair and I can only realize that time went in a hurry and with it, many of my thoughts and feelings.

What hurt me so much doesn't hurt today and what made me happy a few years ago, doesn't mean so much anymore. Many things are no longer and I am not worried, rather I am glad that they did not happen. Time may seem like a punishment, because it takes away what we love, but as an ally or heals wounds and sews them by hand with patience.

In the meantime I see what his company brings and although there are days when I desperately want to stop it, I thank him because now everything is clearer, because it looks different and because I know that also this current wound will heal.
