Take a look at Stavros beach

Hello everyone. In the previous post, I wrote about Stavros, a place where I have a great time every time I go. This summer we spent 10 days in this town and spent most of the days on the beach.

Stavros has a very long beach, which is the most beautiful in the part at the exit from Stavros towards Athos. There is not much crowd and the water is very clean. It is a Blue Flag beach. Unfortunately, this year, because of small children, we did not go far from the beach in front of the house where we were staying, and that part of the beach is crowded and sometimes too noisy.

But we had great moments here. The beach is located in a wooded part of Stavros near a park of plane trees that freshen the air and create natural shade. There are many beach bars where you can use the sunbeds for free with the ordered drink.

I love the blue color of the Aegean Sea, and I am especially impressed by the fact that the water is very warm. Every year one of the main reasons why I go back to Greece is the warm seawater as well as the warm and hospitable people. 😊

I spent most of my time playing in the sand with my son. We made sand towers and entire cities, enjoying the sun and refreshing wind that Stavros is known for.

I also got sand ice cream from my son. It wasn't tasty, but it was the most beautiful. 😊

There is a small church on this beach. I'm not religious very much, but I love these small Greek churches at every turn because you can feel peace near them.

If you decide to choose Stavros as your vacation spot, I recommend you to visit the beaches in the direction of Athos and you will have a fantastic experience. But you won't go wrong if you visit the beach near the park of plane trees because you will enjoy the natural shade. Stavros offers a lot of choices for beach time.
