Hello Istria, hello Adriatic Sea
Hello everyone. I arrived in Istria a few days ago. I love Istria and I am always happy to return. It is beautiful Croatian region and the largest Adriatic and Croatian peninsula. I stayed in Porec again like the last time I was here.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a surprise. My friend from primary school whom I haven't seen for years stayed in the same hotel as us and we were very happy to meet. Unfortunately, they had to go home the next day, but until then we spent time together. We stayed at the Delfin Hotel, where every night there is a music program by the pool, so we had a wonderful evening there together.
The next day we went on a cruise around the Blue and Green lagoon, beautiful areas of the Adriatic.
My friend has a son and I have a son and a daughter, so our children wanted to go sailing on a submarine that we sailed on two years ago. I also wrote a post about it, two years ago and if you want you can read it
here.
Since then, the submarine has not changed at all.
But what has changed is that there is an algae bloom right now, so we haven't seen anything in the sea.
Last time we saw a lot of fish and marine life and it was a much better experience. But the children were very happy.
My friend was also very happy. 😊
And it was nice for us to sail a little and enjoy the views of the beautiful Adriatic Sea.
It was amazing to look at the blue expanse around. I love that feeling of freedom when we sail.
When we got back we spent time on the beach together. The sea is warm this year and there is a lot of natural shade, so it is very pleasant to be here both for a walk and for sitting on the beach.
During the afternoon, algae appear, which is not pleasant to look at, but they say that they are healthy and have a beneficial effect on the skin. My friend went home with her family in the afternoon and we stayed on the beach and spent the rest of the day there, happy to be in this place again.
Thank you very much for reading.
The images and writing are original and mine.
