My Actifit Report Card: September 7 2019

Hello everyone! Yesterday, we, the mechanical engineering students of UCLM went to Cotcot, Compostella City for a mangrove planting.

The departure was at 6:30am, so I decided to just go directly to the municipality of Liloan where we are supposed to gather for a head count.

After 30 minutes of waiting, we then went to our destination in Cotcot. Upon arrival, we ate our snacks first and then the head of the place briefed us on what we are supposed to do. After that we started the mangrove planting.

Sometimes, helping the mother nature in this small but sincere act of kindness feels great. Because of the recent incendent in the Amazon rainforest, even if it is not that much that we planted, even if it was just for that day, in that small act of kindness, I hope that it can compensate a little of what was lost during the Amazon wildfire.
