My Actifit Report Card: May 16 2022

In the past week, the trees where I live suddenly exploded into green, after a very long, cold winter. I took a walk to enjoy the warm fresh air and the lovely greenery.

What a feast for the eyes! I walked along trails, listening to the blackbirds in the nearby marsh, and the other song birds and cardinals, while looking all around at buds and new growth.

I did actually capture a few pictures of a cardinal, too. But unlike many of the other birds in this area, they are so easily scared off that you can’t move without them taking flight.

How about now?

They are always so fun to see. When they are in the sun, it illuminates their brilliant red coloring.

The trail took to me to some beautiful vistas.

By the end of my walk, I felt refreshed. I had shaken off the stress and work exhaustion of the day!
