An Alaska Adventure
A nice visit to Skagway Alaska on our way back from the Yukon.
Skagway was the boomtown gateway to the Trail of the Klondike gold fields. Lots of history in this town from the old gold rush days.
Now it's a stop over for all the major cruise ships.
Lots of neat shops and old historic buildings to visit while in Skagway.
We drove there and stayed in a hotel. It was really busy during the day while all the cruise ships were docked. In the evening it was just the locals around town.
Cool shops and a nice amount of restaurants to see while in Skagway. Also they offer all kinds of excursions to do while in Skagway.
A short walk from where the cruise ships dock there are some nice hiking trails to explore.
