Interesting Old Structure
Kaleden Hotel
This is a cool old building that anyone can visit and is located
in Kaleden BC Canada.
I was on a bike ride and this is along a bike trail. :)
The Kaleden hotel was first constructed in 1911 and closed due to the first world war a few years later.
The building was empty until the 1930's and the sold and was stripped of all it's valuable materials.
It's really neat how it's still standing and accessible for viewing by the public.
I can only imagine how nice and luxurious that hotel would have been to stay in back in the day.
Apparently there are a couple residents in the Hotel. A nice lady told us that a couple of Owls are living in one of the trees. We tried to see them but could only see the nests. :)
