Longing (series)
In continuation of my series….(longing).
There’s this feeling i get to this particular piece, reminds me of something am not even sure of..😌but probably an African feeling and a sense of elegance.
It was fun making the pieces at least….😁
THE LEADS:
The piece was made with charcoal pencil on acid free black paper. Using hatching and crosshatching technique.
It all started with a light sketch with the charcoal pencil. Using the forms, balance and shapes.
Then I started adding details by starting with my lightest shades and being mindful of my light and dark tones.
Still on the same process, I started adding more details, filling the space and being mindful of my tonal values as well.
So here, not what I intended but art is inspirational 😀, decided to make a bold outline after achieving the details.
My pencil cut off…lol, which is another inspiration for me, then i used it for my background to make a smooth impression.
The outcome and i hope you enjoyed the process 😊
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!
