I AM BACK IN THE GAME: LOVIN' IT!

Hi, Splinterians!

I was one of the first backers of "Steemmonsters" and had one of the biggest collections.

My best seasonal achievement was 79:

One year ago, I sold all my cards .
Why did I do it? In retrospect it was perhaps an idiotic decision.
I loved Splinterlands!
My favorite was ELEMENTAR PHOENIX. I also fell in love with GOBLIN MECHANIC, HYDRA and many other monsters.
But, I wanted more Hive. I was for some strange reason temporarily more optimistic about Hive than "Steemmonsters".

Being Norwegian, there is a lot of hype about Axie Infinity. This means that my original hypothesis about blockchain gaming and the possibility to monetize it was correct. I do not know the particular details about the game economy and mechanics in Axie Infinity, but I do know that Splinterlands is fun and the card are much more attracting to me. Also, Splinterlands has much more in the roadmap that I had ever hoped for. The token, SPT, airdropping soon, will also be a game changer. I think I deserve getting a huge drop being that early in backing, playing and writing about Steemmonsters:)

Thus, I dived into the game again with "zero" card. Still lots of fun.
Is there any hope for me in grinding my way back to former glory?

At least, I am on a tear with a winning streak, just completing my daily quest.
