Definition of Community

a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

In the short time I've been on the #Hive blockchain, I feel like that could say "definition of Hive" and I wouldn't have even thought twice about it.

Communities play an important role in our lives outside of business so it only stands to reason that they should be of the same importance in business.

My video that I posted yesterday does reflect my thoughts on this community we have here and the effects it has had on me from a personal perspective, however, today I want to talk about the benefits to having a strong community for your business and what that can do for your brand if you play your cards right.

To me, it's a no brainer...

We have an entire blockchain with over a hundred thousand accounts sitting here, most of whom are active, involved and just waiting to engage in content because they see the potential in having a strong community. Here's the thing - the more you succeed within the community, the more every member succeeds! Can I get an Amen!?

If someone walked up to you and offered you access to a hundred thousand potential customers for your business, all you had to do was step out of your comfort zone a bit (not even that much) and learn something new...would you really say no?

Of course you wouldn't!

You'd say, "Where do I sign up & what do I need to do!?"

For anyone that uses Hive to its true potential, like I am learning to do, is sitting over here with me going "I don't understand why more people don't get this!"

Now, I'm by no means saying that you should join Hive and spam your business on your blog and you'll have hundreds of thousands of sales instantly. In fact, if you do that, I can pretty much guarantee the opposite WILL happen. It's not that type of platform...

However, if you DO show up to Hive everyday, create value for people and give them an opportunity to get to know, like and trust you...you will start to see results here because Hive is built by action takers and consistent action breeds results.

Many of you reading this are already active members here at Hive and know what I'm talking about when I speak of results.... But then there are those who haven't yet joined or are members but not taking action daily...this post is for you guys!

Hive is a community for everyone. I want you to read that again and then again, just to be sure you understand. This isn't a closed club. You are welcome and will be accepted. The only thing you have to do is show up and put the work in. That's it!

Stop sitting on the sidelines and come join us in the game! It's the only way to win!
