A Visit To Display Plant House

As shared recently, I visited a conservatory in Hong Kong, and the place is full of thriving plants of different kinds. The Dry Plants House which I featured in my blog about a desert in the city is one of its three sections. Next is the Humid Plants House in my blog Discovering Forstgate Conservatory, where I felt like transported into a rainforest. Featuring today is the Display Plant House which showcases thematic displays of different cultivated plants from different families and classifications.

The house offers a journey that shows visitors the vibrant foliage of different plants, which both nature and plant lovers alike would enjoy. Within its transparent walls thrives a harmonious merge of art and botanical splendor.

As I stepped inside, the delicate fragrance of blossoming flowers was the first thing that awakened my senses. Displayed plants in different pots evoked pleasant memories of my father's plants at home. He's the only member with a green thumb and responsible for adding more life within and around our house, which always reminded us of the delicate side of our father.

Inside the glass walls is a beautiful landscape adorned with flowers of different kinds. A house veranda standing at the corner is the main attraction, which is surrounded by plants painted with nature's vibrant hues.

This is a perfect setting for a cup of hot coffee or tea while overlooking a vibrant tapestry of nature's finest.

The house's garden has a captivating setting, merging art and nature. Decorations and ornaments are intricately chosen to add allure to the surroundings.

The duck-bile fairy seems to be playful with her froggy friends around her.

Dazzling swans gracefully showcase their natural behavior and always show elegance in all their poses.

Meanwhile, a majestic peafowl seems to be guarding the place, ensuring the tranquility and harmonious merging of all creatures within the house. Its dazzling feathers, adorned with blue, green, and gold colors, are always captivating.

Bunnies were everywhere as the Mid-Autumn Festival was approaching at that time.

The hedgehog pot carries beautiful globe amaranths.

Different roses displayed in the front garden of the house are painted with delicate shades of pink, yellow, and red, symbolizing beauty and romance. The rose has been my all-time favorite flower.

Moth orchids are always stunning and renowned for their elegant bloom. On display are a variety of colors, including shades of pink, purple, yellow, and even white, with petals adorned with intricate markings. This has been a popular choice for Chinese and other enthusiasts in all seasons.

Woolflowers in vibrant red color and distinctive shape and texture add charm to the place.

Cute and beautiful African violets are conserved and would definitely capture the hearts of indoor gardeners.

Hanging plants on bamboo fences and stalks adds greenery and a sense of life to the plant house. Oftentimes, they are taken for granted. However, by doing so, they create more space and transform bare walls or corners into a beautiful tapestry.

Water fountains with the use of bamboo stalks and broken pots, as well as the tree trunks transformed into tables and chairs, show art, creativity, and resourcefulness.

A lovely demonstration of how to use plants and flowers, including floral arrangements for weddings and other occasions, are displayed on the opposite side. Anyone would be drawn in by an arching garden adorned with colorful flowers and greenery, which would also inspire enthusiasts to decorate their own gardens.

Just like other sections of the conservatory, this isn't just a haven for nature lovers but also for knowledge seekers. The Display Plant House also has an interactive corner where visitors can learn about gardening and get information about different plants on display.

It was such a wonderful walk to this conservatory, which offers benefits beyond seeing beautiful and colorful creatures in the natural world. I got to learn more about their diverse ecosystems and their habitats. And for those seeking tranquility and educational experience, Hong Kong's Forstgate Conservatory is truly a place to recommend.
