The TIL Challenge: Announcing Winners

In a world that is ever-changing and full of new experiences, everyone is being offered the chance to act a part or even learn new things in different areas every day.

Hence, last week I launched a challenge where Steemians get the opportunity to tell us about what they have learnt for the day. The Today I Learned Challenge #TIL #TIL-Challenge

About 25 Steemians accepted the challenge with various posts on things they have learnt and how it has impacted them. Some shared stories about their daily life while some others offered us life hacks.

Going through the posts, I must admit I learnt a lot and got different insights into situations. In the long run, I had to pick out only about 5 posts with a kind of effect. They shared posts about what everyone can relate to. I can readily admit I go first-hand lessons from their posts. But, a fact is everyone learns in their everyday life, it’s your perspective that lets you see the lesson.

From the 5th, we have jerryboy4luv@jerryboy4luv

He shared a post about basic facts he learnt about marriage which he got from an elderly man and also got a few lessons from a movie he saw on greediness. Really, what is the World turning to with everyone on a rat race? https://steemit.com/steemgigs/@jerryboy4luv/steemgigs-til-today-i-learnd

4th - fireonxas@fireonxas

He is a specialist in technology and shared the knowledge he acquired on how a Moviestar control can work with the Directv receiver. I’m sure people with Directv will appreciate his expertise. https://steemit.com/steemgigs/@fireonxas/today-i-learned-in-my-work-control-universal-movistar-works-with-directv-discovery

3rd- steemit-fairy@steemit-fairy

She gave us an insight into the everyday blessings we do ignore or take for granted. She made us realize we should be thankful for the things we have rather than complain about the ones we don’t have.https://steemit.com/steemgigs/@steemit-fairy/the-lesson-of-my-day-will-remember-for-lifetime

2nd- shonana1@shonana1

Kids need to learn how to protect themselves from the harsh reality the world is turning to (With rape and sexual assaults). She shared the method a teacher uses to teach the kids about the parts that shouldn’t be touched (bad touch). I really wish I have access to the video too though so I can pass it on to parents I know https://steemit.com/steemgigs/@shohana1/steemgigs-til-challenge-here-is-my-entry

1st - dulceluna@dulceluna

I must admit this is a personal favourite of mine. dulceluna@dulceluna shared the story every one of us can relate to. A story of a personal struggle to perfect the art of making cupcakes (she wants to have a big cafeteria in future). Her #TIL post is a story that inspires one not to give up and keep trying no matter what. With repetition and practice, she got a positive result.
