Trim plants to control their height

As I have shown in my previous articles, I have plants that are growing enormously And I can't find another word other than this enormous because their size is incredible.
The largest plant in the backyard at my house exceeded the height of the ceiling of my own house.

The reason I decided to cut off the tops on each of my plants is because they have already reached sizes that I consider are not optimal.
I mean that I don't need my plants to continue growing more but to produce buds.

At this time, production is going at a very slow pace and is surely due to the enormous growth and the season of the year, which to clarify is midsummer in this region of the world.

I hope that this technique that I have just implemented in several of my plants has positive results, although it can also be counterproductive since it creates stress in the plant.
