RE: IOTA, WTF?

The geniuses at IOTA are surely perfectionists.

BUT...

They still haven't found a suitable way for them to handle the security issues inherent with their DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) called "The Tangle".

At least they are quite honest; admirably forthcoming about the details of their hacks, the fixes put in place and have quickly compensated IOTA customers for any losses incurred.

And in spite of it's growing pains, I still believe that DAGs are the way of the future.

Why?

Conventional Blockchains, both PoW and PoS, are already feeling the crunch of scalability demands and archival storage.

In fact, just to maintain its legacy and ensure solid, honest future transactions, many Blockchains must take on third party storage partners.
