Learning how to do a Menu Screen & Linking it to the Game Map.
I'm still making baby steps towards trying to make a RISK Styled Game on @splinterlands Praetoria.
Dipping my toe into some programming makes me really appreaciate game developers.
To do the simplest thing is a line of code somewhere.
It took me hours just to work out how to zoom & pan the map.
My next hurdle is how to identify the different map segments.
I'm also watching videos on how to outline the gameplay.
I will just play around with different ideas and see if I can implement them on the map.
There's been no change to any prizes or plans at this stage.
It doesn't seem to be appealing to anyone and I've been pretty busy with normal life stuff to really push it.
I'm happy to have found a few solid hours to play around recently.
