Hello Friends,

The life and death of a Negroni is a tail of joy and sadness. This classic cocktail was invented in 1919 by Count Camillo Negroni in Florence, Italy. It was created as a twist on the Americano, which was made with gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari. The Negroni replaced the soda water with gin, giving it a more robust flavor. The cocktail was an instant hit and quickly spread throughout Italy and beyond. However, the Negroni's popularity began to decline in the 1970s, and by the 1980s it was all but forgotten. In recent years, there has been a resurgence in interest in the Negroni, and it has become a way of life.

Yesterday night the bar I helped out at asked me to make a promo video for this classic drink. Wanting to flex my Steven Spielberg mussels, I decided to file the Life and Death of a Negroni.

This heartwarming but bitter-sweet tail shows the conception, birth, life, and, with a tear in my eye, the death of a nice glass o' Negroni.
