Hi !

Just a very short post of being in the moment.

You know I am solar powered, so you can only guess how low my battery has been in the last few weeks. Today was no exception as when I got out of bed it was dark and it is not quite that time of year yet.... or shouldn't be. Cloudy & rainy off and on with only a few peaks of sun.

Of course it was really dark when I clocked out of work and I was making the frowny face even worse than this.....

So I got me some vittles from the frig and settled into my favorite cushioned rocking chair and ate my supper. Then I decided to take a cat nap and just as I told Lexa to set a 30 minute timer and pulled my lap blanket up, I thought I saw a tiny ray of sunshine and when I glanced out the front window, I was SURE I saw part of a rainbow. I told Lexa to stop the timer as I jumped up, grabbed my phone and ran to the front porch (ok... maybe it wasn't really a RUN, but pretty fast for me all the same LOL) ..... hoping it wouldn't disappear before I got out there. I was lucky and it did not go away before I snapped off a few shots.

Of course they are just phone photos and there were still some nearly transparent, smokey little clouds between me and part of it and staying on my porch didn't allow me to quite get the whole thing in one shot.

Still, it was fun to experience. The temps had cooled a little, not cold, but not the 77 it was a couple of hours ago.

I even thought it got brighter for a few minutes while I stood there.

So beautiful ! Thought I'd share my moment with you.
