This has been and is still a great weapon used by the government to ensure they are still in charge.

How do you gain control over the people you rule? This is a question the government will always ask as they don't want anything to take away that seat, power and influence from them so what they do is to restrict every access that will get people close to being in competition with them.

Which includes

Unemployment: this the government will do to make a great number of citizens crawl on the street in search of food.

Insecurity: this will even make citizens scared of going out just to be safe. People who are involved in productions don't get the opportunity to boost production as their safety is no longer guaranteed ie Farmers.

Limited access to Social amenities: the likes of light water and roads are signed virtually every year as budget but what do we get looting! Looting!! And Looting!!! Of the highest order there by making every form of mechanized production frustrating.

All these are conspired strategies just to keep the citizens right under the feet of those who happen to be in power for easy control at any given day and any given time just to satisfy their insatiable selfish interest.

Who does the snatching of ballot boxes during elections? Poor masses.

Who does the thuggery when people try to fight for their right? Poor masses.

Who does the selling of votes during elections? Poor masses.

Poverty is just a tool used on masses against their fellow masses.

This has been the strategy right from the onset when the citizens are poor and can be easily manipulated.

I await the day the poor masses will also have to conspire against the evil we elect and call our leaders.

It will take time but it's surely going to happen someday.
