Personality misconceptions

Dont judge a book by its cover they say. Perception may not be the right thing. It is possible to see someone from a different angle or perspective especially when you're not close to the person.

I have had people tell me how suprised they are seeing me in another perspective contrary to what they perceived.

Most people perceive me to be a boring and quiet person. They feel i do not talk or express myself when there is need to.
I am naturally an introvert and selectively extroverted
This means that from a distance I seem to be very quite and boring. So basically people who aren't really close to me think that just my total and general behavior but how wrong they are!

I actually like my space so much and i dislike having altercations with people even though i know this is inevitable. Usually when i get to a new environment, i carefully study the environment, people, and the situations around there. This helps me to know how to relate with the persons around me.

People often misconceive me to be someone who is not jovial and social. They feel I'm a loner, reserved human being and a boring fellow.
I have had a lot people coming to meet me to ask if I usually express myself especially when I'm not comfortable with a situation.

So many get suprised when they see the jovial and social part of me. They get to react like " is this really you?, so you can talk like this" i laugh because i know they had a wrong perception of my personality.

On the contrary, I am a very interesting, lively and social person. Infact I dislike a boring and extremely quiet person. i find it difficult to flow with them. However, i am very cautious when dealing with people this is why i take my time to know a little about people before i begin to flow with them. This helps me maintain boundaries.
